Pension Horalka - Spindleruv Mlyn

Introduction

Welcome to pension Horalka´s website. Horalka Pension is situated in Špindlerův Mlýn in an altitude of 850 m above sea level, next to ski- lift Hromovka.

In summer Horalka is a pleasant 15 minutes walk from the city center of Špindlerův Mlýn. In winter you can go skiing to ski-slopes Hromovka or to ski resort Svatý Petr in Špindlerův Mlýn. Just next to Horalka a cross-country ski trail belonging to Giant Mountains highway runs. The trail is maintained every day in winter, in summer it serves as a cycle path.

Our restaurant is opened whole daytime. You can enjoy outdoor seating on a terrace or in the garden house with a spectacular view to valley of Špindlerův Mlýn. 

Restaurant

Our restaurant is opened whole daytime. A typical Czech and especially Giant Mountains cuisine you can enjoy in its restaurant with a cozy fireplace. Menu is enriched by home-made smoked fishes and cheeses and different kinds of grilled meat. You can enjoy outdoor seating on a terrace or in the garden house with a spectacular view.

Half board menu includes breakfast served in buffet-style and dinner in the form of menu containing – soup, main dish and salad or desert (same menu for everyone). You can also choose from our rich selection of meals in our a la carte menu (but this is not included in the half-board). 

At the end we can't forget to mention the beer – you can enjoy eleven – degrees beer called Svijanský Máz and twelve - degrees beer called Weizen. Both mentioned beers are made in Svijany ´s brewery.

Accommodation
Horalka offers accommodation in double rooms, triple rooms and quadruple rooms (extra beds are also possible). All the rooms have a private bathroom and television.
A free wireless internet connection is provided in restaurant, rooms and lounge. 

Activities
What you can do in summer:
You can make a bicycle trip – only 30 metres from Horalka pension you can find a cycle path.
Walking – you can make various trips starting from Horalka pension.
You can play tennis, volleyball or badminton.
You can try jumping on trampolines.
Children  can enjoy children ´s playground and sand – corner.
You can taste various grilled specialities in garden – house.
You can play crocquet or bowling.
You can visit aquapark or adventure park located in Špindlerův Mlýn or try to ride off-road scooters, tricycles, try bridging , tandem paragliding, play paintball, crawl on the climbing wall in Svatý Petr.

You can pick up mushrooms in near forests, swim in Elbe´s dam or we can ensure for you horse riding in the local riding school. During last mentioned you can appreciate a scenic landscape view.
What can you enjoy in winter?
- Skiing, skiing and skiing again. We have our own ski lift, or you can visit the ski resort Spindleruv Mlyn – more information you can find in the section Skiing
- Cross-country skiing - from Horalka you can join the Giant Mountains highway
- Winter hiking on snowshoes. Snowshoes you can rent for a small fee at Horalka.
- Snow tubing in Spindleruv Mlyn
Whole year:
- Darts, billiards, children's corner - all for free
- Sauna – for a fee in amount of 100, - CZK per person per hour
- Massage-chairs for a small fee
- Massages for a fee
You can also visit a disco in Špindlerův  Mlýn city. Large hotels offer also fitness and wellness, bowling, squash,  indoor tennis courts, shooting range, mini golf and much more.

The price does not include a recreational fee in the amount of EUR 15, - CZK per person per night (this fee is paid only by people 18 - 70 years old).

Children under 2 years are free of charge (without bed).

Children from 2 years to 10 years and guests sleeping on extra beds have 30% discount.

Half-board costs 140, - CZK per person per day. For children under 10 years of age, we offer half board for 105, - CZK per day.

During following special events we charge:

Christmas fee in the amount of 500, - CZK per person / night.

New Year's Eve fee in the amount of 500, - CZK per person / night.

The fee for a dog costs 100, - CZK per night.

Luggage transport from Spindleruv Mlyn and back (upon arrival and departure) is free in the case of one week stay.

The price for the ski - courses and schools in the countryside:

420, - CZK per person / night including full board (during the whole year)

Next to the pension is a ski lift suitable for beginners and participants of ski courses.
Full-day rent of a lift for school is 3000, - CZK per day. All-day fare for other guests is 150, - CZK per person per day.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel a stay:

- 30 days before arrival, we charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 10% of the price,
- 21 days before arrival , we charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 30% of the price,
- 14 days before arrival , we charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of the price,
- 7 days before arrival , we charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 75 % of the price,
- 6 days before arrival , we charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 90% of the price,
- 5 days or less days before arrival and during the stay, we charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 10 0% of the price.

In the case of overnight stays and collective reservations we require a written confirmation and deposit payment.
Skiing
Spindleruv Mlyn is rated as the best winter sports resort in the Czech Republic. It is the only one center with six stars evaluation.
There are 25 km of ski trails in total and 3 snow parks. Season ticket is valid for the entire resort of Spindleruv Mlyn and Medvedin.

The resort is known especially in connection with ski racing tracks in Svatý Petr. There are cable-cars and ski-lifts with total capacity of 8990 people/ hour. The upper cableway station is located in an altitude of 1185 m above sea level. There is a cable way in Medvědín areal – Horní Mísečky -  it is able to transfer  8 840 people per hour. The upper cableway station is located in an altitude of 1235 m above sea level.
