Within the resort the company Skiareál operates four instructional trails up to Medvedín and Sv. Petr for families with children.
Bear way 8,6 km
Medvědín – Medvědí cesta: Hike the Medvědín and read the story of the last bear named Meďánek, who already long ago loitered through the Giant Mountains. In addition along the way you learn more information about this predator, since his residence is in the Czech Republic to our days. Change: Pick-up your reward at cash desk Medvědín.

Krakonoš story 9,5 km
Medvědín – Krakonošův příběh: Do you know where and how Krakonoš was born? And if his name comes from the Giant Mountains or if the name of the Giant Mountains come from Krakonoš? All of this can be found on the trail leading from the Medvědína to Spindlerův Mlýn where you can learn more about Krakonoš´s life. On your tour your children want to solve various tasks and knowledge quizzes. So let them do it. Spoor way 7,7 km
Sv. Petr – Stezka stopaře: Do you want to be forest detective and learn to read the spoors of the forest animals? The Spoor way brings it to you. Here you get to know animals and their footprints that you can find everywhere. And next time when you see a trace on a path you are immediately aware of who had gone here before you did. Moss path 3,8 km
Sv. Petr – Mechová pěšinka: You cannot expect a walk on the moss, but on this way you will learn a lot about the plants in the Giant Mountains. You will seek them, investigate, examine their fragrance. Write down any information. Following this, you get a reward for all correct answers.
