From the centre of ŠM (720 metres above sea level) – from the post office – across the white bridge – to the right through the town park – to Restaurant Labužník – still against the flow of the Elbe – past the Yellow Point adrenaline park – to the chairlift up Medvědín – further to the KRNAP log cabin – continue along Harrachova cesta into Labský důl (892 m a. s. l.) – the route ends at the Small Elbe waterfall.

From the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn (White bridge) – to the right along the Elbe river – Restaurant Labužník – to the left along a forest path – Hotel Montana – Hotel Vojenská zotavovna Bedřichov – follow the red hiking marks – Restaurant U Medvěda – to the right along a cross-country skiing trail through Medvědín hill – Horní Mísečky to Stopa buffet – follow the red hiking marks – MAIN KRKONOŠE TRAIL – centre of Špindlerův Mlýn.
